Book Review: 'Lucky Prince' by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners

Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners state that this book was originally by Juliana but has been ‘brushed up’ and expanded by Eva. The real attraction for this title is the upcoming marriage of Meghan Markel into British royalty with Prince Harry. This idea adds spice to the chatter about the big event.

These ladies open their book with a noisy sex scene and that degree of concentration of steaming erotica seems to be the raison d'ĂȘtre for bringing this revised book to the Chick Lit audience.

The language is racy enough that it cannot be quoted in a review. The first story (the title story is summarized – ‘I'm on a royal mission to find a bride. Here I am, getting married but short a wife. I'll be stripped of my crown unless I can snag one. Luckily I have the funds to pay handsomely for the right stand-in. This should be easy, right? Word has definitely gotten out. Everyone wants to be my new bride. But when I find the perfect pretend princess, I don't even know her name. All I know is that she's American and she likes to put up a fight. I tell myself I'm only into her for the good of my kingdom. But her captivating curves leave me spellbound. And I want a smoking hot royal wedding night with her. She runs out of my life just as quickly as she ran into it. But this Prince Charming is determined to find her.’

The bonus stories are brief and similar in nature. Very timely release for this book for the Chick Lit lovers. Grady Harp, May 18
