Joe Paterno was one of the most celebrated figures in American athletic history, having coached football at Pennsylvania State University for decades on end. Paterno's career ended under a firestorm of controversy due to the now-infamous Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal. Before Paterno was able to fully share his side of the story, he died of natural causes. Since then, Paterno's son, Jay, has devoted much time to clearing the air about his father's legacy.
