Book Review: 'Sealed With a Purr' by Celia Kyle

This is one of the books in the Ridgeville series. I haven’t read any of the others and don’t worry if you haven’t either because you get caught up with the story arc and even get to meet characters from the other books.
The story plunges you immediately into what’s going on, past and present, which I found to be a plus. There’s some humor, some sadness, but most of all a sexy hero, who just happens to be a lion shapeshifter. He comes across as caring while being dominant which I felt added to his appeal. And then there’s Tess who, although this is paranormal story, you can bond with and cheer for. She’s been through a rough time and Harding is the mate who will help her heal.
What I liked most about this story was most of the scenes just featured Tess and Harding. Sometimes they were intense and the sexual tension sizzled which turned this into a fun read.
After reading Sealed With a Purr I’ll be checking out more of the series. And if you enjoy shapeshifting stories that feature creatures besides wolves, this might be a good pick for you.
