Book Review: 'Offside' by Kelly Jamieson

OFFSIDE

This story is more than a romance. It deals with the power of second chances at love, at turning your life around, at coming back from an accident. The tenderness in the interaction between Matt and Honey had me hooked from the start. His gentle demeanor and winning disposition makes him a winner.
Honey is a well-developed character as well. She has found her inner strength and has turned her life around. I love strong female characters that have an undercurrent of vulnerability. As Matt points out to her “I love you because you’re beautiful, Honey –on the outside and the inside. You have such a warm heart. “
Offside is the fifth installment in the Heller Brothers Hockey series. All these books in the series are standalone novels. The author has saved the best for last. If I was in love with these hockey players before, I am definitely bowled over by Matt now.
