The New Wolf starts with an established relationship between Connor and Josh, which was a unique way to start a story. I’ll admit I was a bit confused at first and was worried that I had missed a previous book, but from there the story picked up and started dropping some pretty big hints on what’s really happening in Black Creek.
There were some aspects on how things were handled that I found a bit confusing, but I loved Josh and Connor. It was obvious that no matter what, it was Josh and Connor against the world. I will give Ms. Scott some major points for not making everyone just magically on board with all the changes happening.
It’s a quick read that had some technical issues, but the underlying story was well done. I do recommend it for the story and a chance to experience Josh and Connor.
