Book Review: 'Wild Beast' by Katie Ford and Sarah May

Katie Ford joins Sarah May again in this WILD BEAST and she only offers as a bio – ‘Hi, we're Katie and Sarah! If you're looking for something short, smutty and satisfying to read, then you're in the right place!’

Before the writing begins the ladies offer the following salutation - ‘Hey Readers – If you love untamable, growly mountain men, then this is the book for you! Damien Evercore’s gonna make you want to disappear into the woods and never come back.’ And the flavor of that Mountain Man (Damien Evercore) is described early on – ‘I’m an animal. A predator, a beast – the thing that lurks in the shadows. And nothing can ever change that. I’ve been away from civilization for a long time, and I don’t intend to go back. My hours are filled with doing what I need to survive. There’s not a lot of time for mindless thought, and I like it that way. Tonight, I’m outside chopping wood. The sun is sinking low in the sky and the air is filled with the scent of dew. I guess it’s the time of day where most people are sitting around at home with their families. I don’t have a family. I like things that way, too. The wind shifts and I hear the sound of bushes rustling. Silently, I make my way closer to the woods. A branch twitches in front of me and I freeze in my tracks. And that’s when I see it. Inch by inch, a small, pink sneaker sliding from out of the trees. The sneaker is connected to a lovely, shapely leg. The thighs are thick and creamy, just how I used to like them back in the days when I wasn’t a hermit…etc’

And so we meet the two main characters and the story sails by quickly - ‘On his mountain, I become his property. Emma Hadley's a bored rich girl stuck at home. When her father threatens to send her off to reform school, Emma runs away into the wild... and straight into the arms of a mysterious mountain man. Damien Evercore's lost his faith in the world. He's seeking solace and peace in the depths of the forest. But when a curvy girl hurtles into his arms unexpectedly, suddenly the ice surrounding his heart melts. Because the mountain takes what he wants, anytime he wants ... including the gorgeous brunette with the tempting smile.’

A story well developed and well played with a big load of erotica! Looks like there is a new viable team at work in Katie and Sarah. Grady Harp, May18
