Book Review: 'That Which Doesn't Kill Us' by Linda and Charlie Bloom

California authors Linda Bloom, LCSW, and Charlie Bloom, MSW have been assisting their clients – individuals and couples as well as organizations – who are discontent with their relationships, guiding them how to repair and grow stronger. They are regular presenters at the Esalen Institute, the Kripal Center for Yoga & Health, 1440 Multiversity, and Rancho La Puerta as well as lecturing in colleges and publishing in the major media.

The beauty of this book is learning how experts in the field of relationship repair found their own relationship in shatters and from that point how they discovered how to repair from the broken pieces of a long successful marriage and family a unit that is more meaningful and complete than they ever knew possible. It is that sort of relating to ‘guides’ that is a forceful synergy to read carefully and regain the energy to work on our own relationships. They have written an accessible and very sensitive and valuable book. Grady Harp, April 18

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
