Book Review: 'Shipped and Handled' by Claude Dancourt

A chance delivery brings with it an opportunity for a forever kind of love.
I loved the title, it’s what first attracted me towards this book.
The story was not what I expected. It’s a simple love story with hot passionate sex included. The beginning of the story set the bar and expectations really high. It was funny and the dialogue was clever.
This is a lust at first sight kind of book with excellent potential for forever love.
Dawn loves the winter, she’s a ski instructor in the winter and a UPS delivery girl in the off season.  One of her deliveries leads to the newest guy in town, who happens to be very hot and a contractor.
Since the book is very short, it felt like there wasn’t time for the relationship to blossom or truly develop beyond insta-chemistry. To her credit, the author tried to show their relationship and why they fell in love and how they fell in love. But the length of the story restricted a lot of it.
The ending was a little surprise but it really worked for me. I would recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time but wants a romance that will bring out the sighs and the smiles.
