Book Review: 'Rock Hard Neighbor' by Rye Hart

Author Rye Hart has 24 published books to her credit. Her bio is scant – only stating that she writes hot steamy novels.
Some Chick Lit authors lead the reader into a situation or relationship with a certain degree of courting with the reader. Not Rye. From the first encounter in her Prologue it is naughty and steamy immediately.

She uses the familiar story of a neighbor daddy who needs a wife. Or as the synopsis states – ‘Brian Murphy. Hot single daddy, next door. Crude. Conceited. Total caveman. He's fighting a custody battle and needs a wife. So, what do I say when he utters four lovely words: Will you marry me? The day we met, he barged into my house half-naked. Tall. Dark. Handsome. And rock-hard abs that had my mouth watering. He told me I had no business moving to the mountains. Now, he's fighting a custody battle and needs my help. He asked me to become his temporary bride. I barely know anything about him or his mysterious past. But then again, Mom always said 'Love thy neighbor'.

Very fast reading, this book is accompanied by another by the same author – equally naughty and steaming with erotica. If that is your taste, welcome to Rye Hart. She delivers what she promises. Grady Harp, February 18
