Book Review: 'My Heart, My Dream, My Universe and Colors' by Camy De Mario

Camy De Mario is perhaps best known to many of us as an immensely gifted artist who illustrations heighten the effect of the many children’s books she has brought to life. But the Camy De Mario who wrote this stunningly beautiful book - a combination of splendid art, rich colors, fine design and even finer thoughts she has elected to share with us - will with the publication of this book enter into her own realm of inspirational author/artist.

The book refuses summary, so from the heart are the phrases that are spread through the art in a unified concept of empowering our souls through words and colors. It is a personal memoir but so universal in its scope that there will be few people who have the good fortune to obtain this book that will be untouched by the thoughts and the art.

Enough said, except for a bow to Camy’s creativity. This is likely one of the finest gifts to place on your list for friends and family for the holidays or birthdays – or on days when you simply care about your fellowman. Highly Recommended. Grady Harp, October 15
