Book Review: 'Unintentional' by M.K. Harkins

This book is the sequel to INTENTIONAL which told the story of Cade, Jeremy, and Mattie. UNINTENTIONAL follows Cade as he tries to get over losing Mattie–who he thought was his soulmate. After taking a break from everything, including his music, he gets back into his music and meets a woman who makes him rethink everything he once thought about soul mates.
The author has done a wonderful job at painting the characters and capturing the music industry. Even the secondary characters are fully fleshed out characters — to the extent that I hope Ms. Harkins intends to write more stories with these people–especially Sophie. I have to admit that after the two main characters, she is my favorite character in the book. The author has a good voice for this genre, and fans of contemporary romance should enjoy this book.
UNINTENTIONAL is a very quick read, despite it’s length–so if you want to escape for an evening, you could do worse that pick this book up.
