'SFRB on Sunday': What happens when media bias meets academic bigotry? Walter Block explains.

Story by Joseph Ford Cotto

Media bias is a very real thing which no shortage of people are alarmed over. Just how many know that skewed reportage can do more than misinform, though? Libertarian author, speaker, and commentator Walter Block, a professor at New Orleans's Loyola University, was briefly quoted in a 'New York Times' article over three years ago. Erroneously presented as an advocate for slavery, he sued the Gray Lady, and his claim is now making its way through the federal judiciary.

In this episode of 'The San Francisco Review of Books on Sunday,' Block talks about the toll media bias can take, addresses the onslaught of political correctness, and shares his views on the nature of libertarianism in American society.
