Additionally, his very successful FitMent Infinity Lifestyle Revolution Seminar Series has been implemented in several corporations. He is currently working with Fortune 500 Company L-3 Communications West in Salt Lake City, Utah; F.J. Management in Ogden, Utah; and he has also served Headwaters Inc. in South Jordan, Utah. Multiple corporations frequently call upon Griff to offer expert advice on corporate wellness, and he has implemented significant positive corporate change in over a dozen companies. Griff has also authored a number of publications, including the FitMent Infinity Official and owns and operates a personal training gym called Lifelong Fitness in Kaysville, Utah. Through this venue, he has been able to spread the word of holistic health and fitness lifestyle change to hundreds of people. He supports concepts of personal development, nutrition and blends them with spirituality.

Griff opens his book by asking ‘Have you ever sensed that you were meant to experience more from life? Have you ever felt as though you were destined to achieve more? Do you struggle with setting and reaching goals? Are you guilty of denying your desires and dreams because you think they are “unrealistic?” Do you often make excuses that rob you of your true potential? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, you likely feel helpless to make positive changes in your life. If you feel stagnant, complacent, or frustrated with the direction of your life, please take heart! In this book, you will be guided through a step-by-step, 60-day plan based on the principles of holistic health that will guarantee you a complete mental overhaul. We will address your mind, your body, your nutrition, and your spirituality. We will teach you essential principles that will help nourish and unify your body, mind, and spirit.’

According to the summary, ‘Exorcising Your Excuses is a holistically based step-by-step approach in eradicating self-limiting excuses and unhealthy thinking patterns that so pervade our stressed out modern society.’ And to summarize this book is only a cerebral exercise. This fine book is meant to be incorporated into your mind and spirit and lifestyle and we feel Griff at our side all the way through this fine guide. One way to encourage you to read and employ these principals is to simply look at the chapter headings – Excuses defined, Habitology, Become Aware of your conditioned inner worldview, Excused form health and fitness, Themes and memes, Genes and memes, Putting your excuses on the bull’s-eye, From crystal clear vision to crystal clear reality and finally 6 Excuse Exorcisms!

Griff ends this rich lesson with the following statement – ‘When we live unaware of our motivations, thinking patterns, and conditioned beliefs, we are vulnerable to the onslaught of excuse making. You now possess knowledge that is both liberating and mandating. It’s liberating because you have all the tools necessary to rid yourself of negatively conditioned beliefs that lead to excuse making. With newly acquired knowledge comes a mandate. You are accountable for putting this knowledge into action within your own life. In my opinion, there is nothing on God’s green earth that can strip you of your character faster than having empty knowledge. When you’re blessed with knowledge that allows you to act on your limitless potential, it’s your responsibility to do so. My overarching message is one of love.’

Come into this book and feel the changes that will happen. ‘Holisitic Principles 101’ Highly Recommended. Grady Harp, May 17
