The Mind Connection: How the Thoughts You Choose Affect Your Mood, Behavior, and Decisions
By Joyce Meyer
Review by Rebecca Johnson
Do you want to be the person you were meant to be? The process may begin with your thought life. Joyce Meyers believes we are in a battle for control of our minds. She explains how we have a choice about what we are thinking.
Positive self talk is much better than negative discouragement. You can really choose to live a more positive life and you can be thankful on purpose. This is a very empowering, positive book that is also filled with godly advice.
There is some discussion about how we can sometimes need a perspective adjustment. Joyce Meyers also talks about self esteem, worrying and persistence. I liked her advice about not saying the wrong things. She makes a good point that what we think about often comes out of our mouths. So lots to think about and a good book to read anytime of year. This book will help you mature spiritually as well.
